Changes to Human Resources operations

From 1^st June, HR Operational activity will be managed by the new HR Operations Centre, located at 195 Wellington Road, Clayton.

The HR Operations Centre consists of three teams, they are; the HR Advisory team (Access HR), HR Business Support team and the HR Recruitment Support team, inclusive of the HR Recruitment Specialist team. Each team performs a different range of activities, however they can all be accessed using the same email address and telephone number.  HR Operations Centre email: hr@monash.edu or telephone on 990 20400.

The following provides a brief Summary of the key changes. 

1.     HR Forms should now be emailed to hr@monash.edu. For processing.

2.     Recruitment Express System (REX) - (see attached) has been updated to simplify the Recruitment process.

3.     All general HR enquiries should now be directed to the HR Operations Centre via email at hr@monash.edu or telephone on 990 20400

The current ‘HR Service Hubs’ will now be referred to as ‘HR Business Partner’ teams.  

Your HR Business Partnering team will remain in place and will work closely with key members of staff within your area, along with the relevant HR Operations team and Centres of Expertise.

Moving forward, HR Business Partners will focus on providing strategic support and advice on matters relating to; Workforce management supported by data analysis and insight, Workforce structure and design, Talent management and succession planning, etc., along with continued oversight of operational matters. This new model has been designed to enable greater capacity to provide an optimum HR Service, both strategically and operationally.

To ensure continuity of service and support, our HR Business Partners and the HR Operations Centre have completed comprehensive handover processes.  These two teams will continue to work in tandem to ensure the best possible service is provided to you and your teams.
